We all know Beyoncé broke the Instagram record for photo with the most likes (congrats on the twins!), but did you know DoSomething.org named her the most charitable celebrity of 2016 in their Celebs Gone Good list?
In 2016 alone, Beyoncé raised $82,000 for the water crisis in Flint, Michigan by asking her fans to donate when they bought tickets for her tour. Beyoncé also co-hosted and performed at a charity concert for Tidal to benefit the Robin Hood Foundation.
She was an advocate for Black Lives Matter and featured several of the mothers of gun violence victims in her Lemonade visual album, and brought them, as well as many women fighting for representation of black women in popular culture, to the MTV VMAs.
